Hipsters

In 2000 the term hipster was related to bohemians. This because hipsters are eco-friendly people, for this reason the bicycles are related to hipsters. Hipsters are widely known as vintage, alternative people but behind this there is a culture of healthy diets and no-gasoline belief. Behind their look there is an artistic face, and a belief of education. in fact you cannot be defined hipsters if you are not educated. Most of the hipsters believe in being vegan or vegetarian. All this is hidden by the way they look. From this idealism and subculture, lots of people took only the appearance making the subculture more common and loose the idealism. From this the idea of people dressed in a certain way are related to hipsters with ought looking at the idea of their belief, life style and ideas on the music. With this subculture we find some small relationships with the hippies. 

The hipsters are different from any other human being. They like to dress in strange ways, they like to have mustache and beard, they wear glasses (many times fake) and they like to wear old clothes.

The cloth they wear are “their grandmother” cloths… or better known as vintage. They wear them as a way to differentiate themselves from every body else. They don't accept any brand… the only one they are ok with is ray ban since they love to wear sunglasses.

The beard it’s very important but not everyone like it; the more hardcore ones have a long beard, mustache and you can see them sitting on the floor on the streets and listening to their vinyl disc and discussing about their fixed gear bikes.

hipsters are usually seen riding their bike. the hipsters use one particular type of bike, the fixed-gear. this means that the speed you pedal , even if downhill, will be the speed of the bike. this because the gear is fixed to the back wheel. in the case you want to break the wheel, you have to stop peddling.

Hipsters music

Hipsters listen mainly to emerging, independent or vintage music such as : indie rock, nu-rave, minimalist techno, independent rap, nerdcore, Elephant 6, garage rock, classic rock (Beatles usually), and punk rock. Indie rock is the main genre hipsters listen to.

Indie rock is a label given to independent less known bands. Indie rock is a mixture between lots of different genre such as: rock, folk music, electronica, pop
